Job Description

Design, develop, and ship features for mobile applications (Flutter/native Java, or React Native) used directly in the client's operational environment

Work closely with backend/API systems built in Node.js, with data stored in PostgreSQL via an ORM (Sequelize) — fullstack candidates will also build/maintain these directly

• If working across platforms, align patterns and components between mobile and web (React) for consistency and efficiency
• Write unit and integration tests for your own code (no separate QA team — code quality is the developer's responsibility)
• Conduct code reviews and follow Git & Pull Request workflow with the team
• Debug, troubleshoot, and maintain applications already running in production
• Coordinate directly with the IT/engineering team at the client site (PTSI – April Group) on system needs and development priorities
• Provide input on infrastructure/deployment (Docker, CI/CD) when needed

Requirements

Core (Mobile-focused candidates)

• 3–5 years of experience shipping mobile applications to production
• Strong in Flutter and/or native Java (Android), or React Native
• Comfortable writing your own unit/integration tests — you own your code quality
• Familiar with Git & PR workflow
• Plus Points
• Strong in Node.js, JavaScript & TypeScript
• Experience with React (web) in addition to mobile
• Solid PostgreSQL & SQL skills, and experience with an ORM such as Sequelize
• Bonus Points
• Experience with Golang or Java beyond mobile context
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes/EKS, CI/CD platforms, and hybrid infrastructure
• Additional Info
• Work arrangement: 3-month contract, with option to extend based on performance and project needs
• Placement: Fully onsite at the client location (Riau, Sumatra) — accommodation (mess) provided
• Timeline: Immediate start (ASAP)
