About the role

General Manager – Payment Business & Operations is a senior leadership role responsible for driving the overall growth, profitability, and operational excellence of the company's payment business. The role oversees the end-to-end payment ecosystem, including merchant acquisition, transaction processing, settlement, reconciliation, dispute management, banking partnerships, and payment product development, while ensuring strong regulatory compliance, risk management, and service reliability. This position serves as a key bridge between Business, Operations, Product, Technology, Risk, Finance, and external partners, with direct responsibility for business performance, strategic initiatives, team leadership, and scaling the payment business sustainably.

Key responsibilities

Lead end-to-end payment operations, including transaction processing, reconciliation, settlement, dispute management, and merchant onboarding.

• Drive business growth and operational profitability.
• Work closely with Product and IT teams on payment product development, API integration, and new product launches.
• Ensure operational efficiency, service reliability, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
• Lead cross-functional teams, establish KPIs, and report business performance directly to management.
• About you
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in fintech, digital payments, banking, or payment infrastructure.
• At least 3 years in a senior management or leadership position.

Strong experience in QRIS, payment gateways, merchant acquiring, virtual accounts, payment switching, and PJP remittance services, including domestic and cross-border fund transfers.

• Proven track record in scaling payment products, managing large merchant networks, and driving transaction growth.
• Solid understanding of payment operations, settlement, reconciliation, and Bank Indonesia regulations.
• Experience managing banking partnerships and cross-functional teams.
• Strong commercial mindset with good analytical, operational, and leadership capabilities.
• Proficient in English.
