About the role

• We are seeking an experienced
• Head of Design & Technical
• to join our Jakarta Barat office on a
• full-time basis

. This is a strategic leadership position that will oversee both the creative design vision and technical execution of our projects. As Head of Design & Technical, you will be responsible for driving design excellence, ensuring technical rigor, and leading a talented team to deliver outstanding architectural solutions. This role is pivotal in establishing our design standards and ensuring seamless integration between creative concepts and technical implementation across all project phases.

• Key responsibilities
• Lead and mentor the design and technical teams, fostering a culture of innovation, excellence, and continuous professional development

Oversee all design concepts and technical documentation, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, creativity, and construct ability

• Develop and implement design strategies and technical guidelines that align with the firm's vision and industry best practices
• Manage the coordination between design, technical, and engineering disciplines to ensure cohesive project delivery
• Review and approve architectural drawings, specifications, and technical details at all project stages
• Identify and develop new business opportunities through client relationships, networking, and industry engagement.
• Lead design presentations, pitches, and proposals to prospective clients.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop winning concepts and project strategies.
• Build long-term relationships with clients, consultants, and industry partners.
• Convert creative ideas into commercially viable project opportunities.
• What we're looking for

Minimum 12 years of professional experience in architectural design and technical project management, with at least 4 years in a senior or leadership role

• Strong background in design development, technical documentation, and construction administration across diverse project typologies
• Proven expertise in architectural standards, building codes, and regulatory compliance in Indonesia and/or Southeast Asia
• Demonstrated proficiency with industry-standard design and technical software.
• Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams
• Outstanding communication skills with the ability to articulate design concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong project management skills with experience managing complex, multi-disciplinary projects
• A portfolio demonstrating significant architectural projects from concept through completion
• Knowledge of sustainable design practices and green building certification systems is advantageous
