Dipay is a digital wallet and payment gateway app in Indonesia. Dipay brings together a range of financial services in one app — digital payments, e-wallet and mobile credit top-ups, interbank transfers and QRIS.
Lead and oversee the Legal, Compliance, and Government Relations functions, ensuring effective operations and alignment with the company’s strategic objectives.
Develop and implement comprehensive legal strategies, compliance frameworks, internal policies, and procedures in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
Establish and develop the Government Relations function, including its organizational structure, engagement strategy, and operational processes.
Represent the company in engagements with government agencies, regulators, industry associations, and other relevant public-sector stakeholders.
Manage corporate legal matters, including corporate governance, company secretarial matters, labor and employment law, intellectual property, mergers and acquisitions, and other corporate transactions.
Lead litigation, dispute resolution, and legal proceedings, including developing case strategies, coordinating with external legal counsel, managing legal documentation, and representing the company’s interests in court or other dispute resolution forums, as applicable.
Identify, assess, and mitigate legal, regulatory, and compliance risks that may affect the company’s operations and business continuity.
Monitor changes in laws, regulations, and government policies, assess their business implications, and ensure timely implementation of necessary adjustments.
Establish and oversee compliance monitoring, internal controls, risk assessments, and investigation procedures to prevent and address potential violations.
Ensure the company’s business activities, products, transactions, and operational practices comply with applicable laws, regulations, licensing requirements, and regulatory standards.
Manage relationships with regulator external legal counsel, consultants, and other professional advisers to ensure effective legal support and cost management.
Lead internal legal and compliance training and promote awareness of corporate governance, ethical conduct, and regulatory obligations across the organization.
Oversee legal documentation, contract management, regulatory reporting, and record-keeping to ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and audit readiness.
Lead, develop, and manage the Legal, Compliance, and Government Relations teams, including resource planning, performance management, and capability development.
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Law. A Master’s Degree in Law or a relevant professional qualification is an advantage.
Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in legal, compliance, and/or corporate legal functions, with demonstrated experience in a managerial or leadership capacity.
Proven experience in litigation and dispute resolution, including case management, legal strategy development, and coordination with external legal counsel.
English & Indonesian
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex legal matters into practical business recommendations.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and operate effectively in a dynamic business environment.
