Hostess/Host

Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet guests in a friendly and professional manner upon arrival.
• Manage reservations, including walk-ins and advance bookings.
• Handling guests to their tables according to availability and seating arrangements.
• Maintain and organize the waiting list to ensure efficient table turnover.
• Ensure the entrance and reception area are clean and presentable.
• Coordinate with FOH and BOH teams to ensure smooth service operations.
• Answer guest inquiries regarding menu items, promotions, and restaurant facilities.
• Handle initial guest complaints and escalate to the supervisor or manager when necessary.

Qualifications

• Well-groomed and professional appearance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Able to work under pressure during busy service periods.
• English communication skills required (additional languages are an advantage).
• Previous hospitality experience is a plus.
