About the role
- We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented
- Housekeeping professional
to join our hospitality team in Badung, Bali. This role is essential to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort for our guests, ensuring their accommodation experience exceeds expectations. As a member of our housekeeping department, you will play a crucial part in upholding our property's reputation for excellence and creating welcoming, pristine environments throughout the hotel or resort.
- What you'll be doing
- Cleaning and tidying guest rooms and suites to the highest standards, including making beds, vacuuming, dusting and sanitising surfaces
- Inspecting rooms for maintenance issues and reporting any necessary repairs or replacements to supervisory staff
- Restocking guest supplies including toiletries, linens, towels and other amenities in a timely and efficient manner
- Cleaning and maintaining common areas such as corridors, lobbies, lounges, bathrooms and staircases
- Handling and laundering bed linens, towels and other textiles in accordance with established protocols
- Managing waste disposal and recycling procedures to support environmental sustainability initiatives
- Responding promptly to guest requests for additional services or special requirements
- Maintaining accurate records of room status and communicating with the front desk and management team
- Adhering to health, safety and hygiene standards at all times
- Working collaboratively with other housekeeping staff and departments to ensure smooth operations
- What we're looking for
- Previous experience in a housekeeping role, preferably within a hotel, resort or similar hospitality establishment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining consistently high standards of cleanliness and presentation
- Physical fitness and ability to perform repetitive tasks, lift heavy items and stand for extended periods
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and work efficiently
- Reliability and punctuality, with a professional and courteous attitude towards guests and colleagues
- Basic understanding of health and safety regulations and environmental best practices
- Willingness to adapt to shift work, including early mornings, evenings and weekends as required
- Knowledge of local customs and hospitality practices in Bali is advantageous
- Ability to communicate effectively in English and Indonesian (or local language) is preferred
