About the role

• PT CIPTA SANALIDA UTAMA is seeking an experienced
• Inspector Cathodic Protection (Expert NACE Level 2)

to join our team in Jakarta. This is a full-time position that plays a critical role in ensuring the integrity and longevity of our infrastructure assets. As Inspector Cathodic Protection, you will be responsible for monitoring, testing and maintaining cathodic protection systems across various construction and infrastructure projects. This role is essential to preventing corrosion-related failures and ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

Key responsibilities

Conduct regular inspections and testing of cathodic protection systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with design specifications

• Perform potential measurements, current evaluations and resistance measurements using appropriate testing equipment
• Document findings, measurements and test results in detailed reports and inspection logs
• Identify deficiencies, anomalies or deterioration in cathodic protection systems and recommend corrective actions
• Collaborate with engineering teams to assess system performance and implement necessary modifications or upgrades
• Monitor impressed current and sacrificial anode systems to ensure they operate within specified parameters
• Conduct troubleshooting and investigation of system failures or underperformance issues
• Maintain accurate records of all inspections, testing and maintenance activities
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry codes, standards and regulatory requirements
• Provide technical guidance and support to maintenance personnel and site teams
• What we're looking for
• Certification or qualification in Cathodic Protection inspection (NACE certified or equivalent preferred)
• Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in cathodic protection systems inspection and testing
• Strong knowledge of impressed current systems, sacrificial anode systems and corrosion prevention principles
• Proficiency with cathodic protection testing equipment including multimeters, high impedance voltmeters and data logging devices
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and system schematics
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare detailed technical reports
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate documentation and record-keeping
• Physical capability to work on site in varying environmental conditions
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards and codes such as NACE, ASTM and ISO standards
• Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
