Japanese Interpreter

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree
• in Japanese language, linguistics, communication, or a related field
• Fluency in Japanese
• ( Min JLPT N2)
• Experience 3 - 5 years
• of interpretation/translation experience in manufacturing fields
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• High level of confidentiality and attention to detail
• Have ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks

Job description

Provide real-time interpretation (consecutive and/or simultaneous) during meetings, trainings, and discussions between Japanese and non-Japanese staff

• Translate documents, emails, manuals, and reports from Japanese to English (or local language) and vice versa
• Support communication in factory floor tours, inspections, and audits involving Japanese-speaking guests
• Assist Japanese expatriates or guests in their daily communication needs within the company
• Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive company information
• Build good relationships with both Japanese and non-Japanese stakeholders to ensure effective communication
