About the role

• We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused
• Kasir
• (Cashier) to join the team at BAMSAE KOREAN RESTO. This is a
• full-time position
• based in
• Surabaya, East Java

. As our Kasir, you will be the final point of contact for our customers, ensuring a smooth and pleasant transaction experience whilst maintaining accuracy in all financial operations. This role is crucial to our retail operations, directly impacting customer satisfaction and the financial integrity of our restaurant.

• Key responsibilities
• Operating the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently to process customer payments via cash, card, and digital payment methods
• Handling cash transactions, processing refunds, and maintaining a balanced cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift

Providing excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly, answering enquiries about menu items and pricing, and addressing customer concerns professionally

• Scanning and ringing up items accurately whilst ensuring all promotional discounts and offers are correctly applied
• Processing orders and payments promptly to maintain smooth checkout operations during peak hours
• Maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the checkout area and payment terminal
• Reconciling daily cash, card transactions, and digital payments against POS records
• Assisting with stock management and informing management of inventory issues at the checkout
• Following food safety and hygiene protocols at all times
• Supporting other team members during busy periods to ensure excellent customer service
• What we're looking for
• Proven experience as a Kasir or cashier in a retail or food service environment
• Proficiency in operating POS systems and digital payment platforms
• Strong numeracy skills with the ability to handle cash transactions accurately
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
• Ability to remain calm and efficient during peak trading periods
• Honest and trustworthy character with strong attention to detail
• Good communication skills in Indonesian and preferably English
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions from management
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required
• Experience in a Korean restaurant or food service establishment is advantageous
