About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and organised individual to join Azyan Pastry in a unique dual role as Kitchen Store Keeper and Recruitment Officer. This is a full-time position based in Surabaya, East Java, offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to both our operational excellence and human resources initiatives. In this multifaceted role, you will be responsible for managing kitchen inventory and supplies whilst simultaneously supporting our recruitment and talent acquisition efforts. This position is integral to ensuring our kitchen operations run smoothly whilst helping us build a strong and capable team.

What you'll be doing

Kitchen Store Keeper Responsibilities

• Managing and maintaining accurate inventory records for all kitchen supplies, ingredients, and equipment
• Conducting regular stock counts and reconciliations to ensure optimal stock levels
• Receiving, checking and storing deliveries in accordance with company standards
• Monitoring expiry dates and implementing proper stock rotation procedures
• Identifying and reporting supply shortages or quality issues to management
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe storage environment
• Coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement

Recruitment Officer Responsibilities

• Supporting the recruitment process by sourcing and screening potential candidates
• Posting job vacancies on appropriate platforms and channels
• Conducting initial telephone or face-to-face interviews with applicants
• Preparing job descriptions and recruitment documentation
• Maintaining candidate databases and recruitment records
• Liaising with hiring managers to understand staffing requirements
• Coordinating interview schedules and logistics
• Assisting with onboarding and induction of new team members
• What we're looking for
• Proven experience in kitchen or warehouse store management, inventory control, or stock keeping
• Experience in human resources, recruitment or talent acquisition is highly desirable
• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks
• Proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and data entry
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of food storage and safety standards is advantageous
• Fluency in Indonesian and English is preferred
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
