Legal Supervisor

Job Purpose

We are seeking a commercially minded Legal Supervisor to join our Jakarta-based team. This role will primarily support our Nickel Industry Group in day-to-day corporate and commercial legal matters, with a focus on contract drafting and negotiation, legal advisory, and cross-functional legal coordination.

Key Responsibilities

1.Contract Drafting & Negotiation: Draft, review, revise, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, procurement agreements, JV/shareholder agreements, vendor contracts, and employment-related agreements in both English and Bahasa Indonesia.

2.Legal Advisory & Regulatory Consultation: Provide clear and timely legal advice on various Indonesian legal and regulatory matters affecting the nickel industry operations, including but not limited to corporate and commercial law, labor and employment, mining and energy regulations, environmental norms, and trade/export compliance.

3.Internal & External Communication: Act as a key legal contact to coordinate and communicate effectively with internal business units, project teams, counterparties, and relevant external stakeholders to align on legal and compliance requirements.

4.Transaction & Project Support: Assist in legal risk assessments, due diligence, and contract execution for ongoing corporate projects and business transactions.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor of Laws (S.H.)

Experience: 3–5 years of post-qualification legal experience (experience in mining, nickel processing, industrial parks, energy, or heavy industry is highly preferred).

Key Knowledge & Skills

Solid grounding in Indonesian Contract Law, Commercial & Corporate Law, Labor Law, Mining & Energy Regulations, and General Regulatory Frameworks.

• Strong skills in contract drafting, legal analysis, risk assessment, and legal negotiation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English (both written and spoken). Basic knowledge of Mandarin is a strong plus.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing priorities in a multi-cultural corporate environment.
