Translator Mandarin
Job Description
- Facilitate effective communication between Indonesian and Chinese employees in daily business operations.
- Translate written documents accurately between Mandarin and Indonesian while maintaining a high level of quality and consistency.
- Provide consecutive and/or simultaneous interpretation during meetings, discussions, site visits, and other business activities.
- Support management and operational teams in cross-cultural communication to ensure smooth coordination and collaboration.
- Review and proofread translated documents to ensure accuracy, clarity, consistency, and appropriate terminology.
- Maintain the confidentiality of translated documents and sensitive company information.
- Assist in preparing reports, presentations, official correspondence, and other bilingual documents as required.
- Perform other translation and interpretation-related duties assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Fluent in Mandarin, both spoken and written, with excellent communication skills.
- Minimum Diploma (D3) degree, preferably in Mandarin Language, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Mandarin–Indonesian Translator/Interpreter.
- Holds a minimum
- HSK Level 5
- certificate (HSK Level 6 or above is preferred).
- Demonstrates the ability to translate technical documents, particularly those related to
- civil engineering designs, building construction drawings, technical specifications, and civil construction project documentation
- Possesses a solid understanding of
- civil engineering, building construction, or construction projects
- , with the ability to comprehend and accurately translate technical terminology.
- Ability to read and interpret civil engineering and construction drawings is a strong advantage.
- Able to work under pressure, possess strong coordination skills, and adapt effectively to a multicultural working environment.
