Market Development Manager

PT Mikatasa Agung is expanding its business and looking for a dynamic Market Development Manager to spearhead new market initiatives. If you have a proven track record in developing new businesses, building strategic partnerships, and leading high-performing teams, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute business strategies to establish and grow new product categories in alignment with the company's vision and business objectives.

Lead the sourcing, selection, evaluation, and negotiation process with local and international suppliers and principals for interior products to ensure competitive pricing, product quality, and supply continuity.

Identify, evaluate, and onboard strategic suppliers and business partners to support the company's product portfolio expansion.

Conduct product quality assessments and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure new products meet the company's quality standards before market launch.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in any discipline; preferably in Management, Marketing, Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.

Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Development, Product Development, Market Development, or Commercial roles, including at least 3 years in a managerial position.

• Proven experience in sourcing and negotiating with both local and international suppliers is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of go-to-market strategies, pricing, distribution channels, and business development.

An established network with contractors, property developers, distributors, building material retailers, and interior designers is highly preferred.

• Demonstrated experience in developing new businesses or product categories from planning through commercialization.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in market analysis, business planning, sales forecasting, and budgeting.
• Willing to travel for business as required.
• Proficient in both written and spoken English.
