Shaz Aesthetic Clinic is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Dental Nurse (Perawat Gigi) to join our growing team in Bali. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to work in a modern aesthetic dental practice, supporting our dentists in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the clinic's continued success. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring smooth clinic operations, patient comfort and the highest standards of dental care.
- What you'll be doing
- Assisting dentists during various dental procedures, including general dentistry, aesthetic treatments and oral surgery
- Preparing operatory rooms, sterilising instruments and ensuring compliance with infection control protocols
- Handling patient records, scheduling appointments and managing administrative tasks to maintain clinic efficiency
- Providing chairside support to ensure patient comfort and safety throughout treatments
- Taking dental radiographs (X-rays) when qualified and authorised
- Educating patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions
- Maintaining and ordering dental supplies and equipment as required
- Supporting the dentists with treatment planning discussions and patient consultations
- Contributing to a professional and welcoming clinic environment for all patients
- What we're looking for
- Formal qualification or certification as a Dental Nurse, or equivalent dental healthcare training
- Proven experience working in a dental clinic environment, preferably in an aesthetic or cosmetic dental practice
- Strong knowledge of dental instruments, procedures and infection control standards
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to reassure and comfort anxious patients
- Attention to detail with strong organisational and time management abilities
- Proficiency in dental software and patient management systems
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team whilst maintaining professional standards
- Fluency in English and Indonesian is preferred; additional languages are advantageous
