, where you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing our web-based applications and systems. As a PHP Programmer, you will play a crucial role in building robust, scalable solutions that support our financial services operations and drive our digital transformation initiatives. We expect you to have strong English to be able to work seamlessly with our global team.

• What you'll be doing
• Develop, test, and maintain PHP-based web applications and services
• Design and implement database solutions using MySQL, PostgreSQL, or other relevant database management systems
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry best practices and coding standards

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, business analysts, and other developers to translate requirements into technical solutions

• Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to ensure code quality
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise existing applications to improve performance and user experience
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering through deployment and maintenance
• Integrate third-party APIs and services into our applications as needed
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools
• What we're looking for
• Proven experience with PHP programming, with at least 2-3 years of professional development experience
• Strong knowledge of PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter
• Proficiency in front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
• Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL query optimisation
• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git
• Familiarity with RESTful API development and integration
• Knowledge of web security best practices and common vulnerabilities
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Preferred: Experience with financial systems or fintech applications
• Preferred: Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud
• Preferred: Experience with automated testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines
