Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technical interface between customers and internal cross-functional teams for new and existing programs.
- Coordinate New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, ensuring smooth transition from prototype, pilot run, and mass production.
Review customer requirements, product specifications, drawings, BOM (Bill of Materials), Gerber files, and engineering documents to ensure manufacturing readiness.
Work closely with Manufacturing, Process Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, Planning, and Production teams to achieve project objectives and customer expectations.
- Develop and maintain project timelines, action plans, and program schedules to ensure on-time delivery of milestones.
- Monitor program performance, including quality, cost, delivery, and production efficiency, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead engineering change management activities, including ECO (Engineering Change Order) and customer change requests.
- Coordinate risk assessments and implement corrective and preventive actions to address technical and manufacturing issues.
Support quotation and feasibility studies by evaluating manufacturing capabilities, production processes, tooling requirements, and material availability.
- Analyze product and process issues, identify root causes, and coordinate effective solutions with relevant departments.
- Facilitate customer visits, audits, project reviews, and technical discussions when required.
- Ensure compliance with customer requirements, industry standards, and company quality management systems.
- Track key program metrics and provide regular project status updates to management and customers.
- Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors regarding technical requirements and issue resolution.
- Drive cost reduction, process optimization, yield improvement, and productivity enhancement initiatives.
- Support product transfers, capacity expansion projects, and manufacturing process implementation.
- Prepare and maintain program documentation, reports, meeting minutes, and project records.
- Ensure all program activities are executed in accordance with company policies, safety regulations, and customer expectations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in an EMS/PCBA manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of PCB Assembly, SMT, Box Build, and New Product Introduction (NPI) processes.
- Familiar with BOM, Gerber files, ECN/ECO processes, and manufacturing documentation.
- Good understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong project management, communication, and customer management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
