, we are seeking a vibrant, proactive and engineering-savvy Project Assistant to join our team. This role is established to support local project operations and cross-border collaboration, eliminating the need for frequent dispatching of Shanghai headquarters staff, and will serve as a key local anchor for our inaugural Jakarta project.
About The Role
- This is a full-time, project-based
- remote position based in Jakarta
, exclusively supporting Taybo Shanghai’s landmark first data center project in Indonesia. The ideal candidate will act as the core local liaison, working hand-in-hand with our professional Shanghai headquarters team to conduct end-to-end local coordination and engineering auxiliary work with data center owners, EPC contractors, local equipment suppliers and all key project stakeholders.
- To facilitate seamless cross-regional project collaboration and business docking, the role requires
- occasional short-term business trips to China and Singapore
as needed. This is a rare and valuable career opportunity for young engineering talents to engage in international AI data center infrastructure projects, accumulate cross-border project coordination experience, and grow rapidly alongside our company’s expanding Southeast Asian business layout.
- What You’ll Be Doing
- Support senior project managers and Shanghai engineering teams in full-cycle planning, progress tracking, coordination and on-site execution of all mechanical and electrical engineering works for the Jakarta data center project
- Prepare, organize, update and archive standardized project documents, including project schedules, budget statements, progress reports, technical specifications and professional engineering files to ensure complete and regulated project archives
- Serve as the primary local communication coordinator, managing daily information docking and business communication between the Shanghai headquarters team and local project parties (data center owners, EPC contractors, equipment suppliers and other stakeholders) to guarantee steady project progress
- Assist in on-site project inspections, quality audits and compliance verification, ensuring all on-site construction and equipment deployment strictly aligns with project technical specifications and quality safety standards
- Sort out and organize technical drawings, circuit schematics, mechanical structure diagrams and other engineering materials, and accurately collect and feed back on-site local technical problems to the Shanghai team in a timely manner
- Track core project milestones, key deliverables and time nodes, regularly sort out project progress, and assist in supervising and promoting the on-time completion of phased project tasks
- Provide auxiliary support for project procurement work, communicate and dock with local equipment vendors and material suppliers, sort out product parameter and quotation information, and maintain complete procurement records
- Take charge of daily project meeting arrangements, including preparing meeting agendas, recording detailed meeting minutes, sorting out follow-up task lists, and tracking the full implementation of meeting resolutions
- Undertake routine project administrative work including document filing, data statistics and project database maintenance to ensure efficient and standardized daily project operation
- Assist in on-site HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) management supervision, ensuring all project construction activities comply with local Indonesian safety and environmental protection regulations
- What We’re Looking For
- At least a Bachelor’s degree in
Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Project Management or related engineering disciplines from Institut Teknologi Bandung (preferred)
- ; fresh graduates or young talents with relevant internship or engineering work experience are warmly welcome
- Solid basic professional knowledge of mechanical & electrical systems, power distribution systems and basic data center engineering project management principles
- Trilingual proficiency is a core priority
- : fluent verbal and written communication skills in
- Bahasa Indonesia, English and/or Mandarin
- to support barrier-free cross-language and cross-border team collaboration
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for professional document compilation, data sorting, statistical analysis and report presentation
- Excellent organizational capabilities and rigorous time management skills, able to independently arrange and advance multiple concurrent project tasks efficiently
- Meticulous, careful and rigorous work attitude, with high accuracy in document sorting, data recording and file archiving
- Young, vibrant, energetic and enterprising, with strong work initiative, excellent communication skills and team collaboration awareness
- High professional responsibility and good work ethics, able to strictly follow project deadlines and standardized work specifications
- Flexible and adaptable, willing to conduct regular project site visits and take occasional business trips to China and Singapore as job required
- Candidates with relevant data center infrastructure project coordination, engineering support or construction project auxiliary experience are highly preferred
