About the Role
- We are looking for an experienced
- Project Manager
to lead the successful delivery of office and retail interior fit-out projects from project award through final handover and retention. You will be responsible for managing project execution, client communication, cost, schedule, quality, safety, and team performance to ensure every project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
This role is best suited for professionals with strong experience in commercial interior Design & Build projects who are confident leading multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
- Key Responsibilities
- Project Leadership & Delivery
Lead the end-to-end execution of office and/or retail interior fit-out projects from site survey, project planning, execution, handover, and retention.
Take full ownership of project delivery, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with company quality standards.
- Develop project execution strategies, resource plans, and project schedules to achieve project objectives.
- Ensure compliance with the company's Quality Management System (QMS), HSE policies, and project procedures throughout the project lifecycle.
- Project Planning & Coordination
- Analyze project requirements and determine manpower, material, equipment, and subcontractor resources required for successful execution.
- Conduct site surveys together with the Project Coordinator to assess site readiness and identify project constraints.
Lead internal project kickoff meetings with Project Supervisors, Project Coordinators, HSE Officers, and related departments to ensure project readiness.
Lead external kickoff meetings with clients, consultants, vendors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to align project scope, schedules, responsibilities, and expectations.
- Coordinate closely with the Creative, Purchasing, Estimator, and BD teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Site Execution & Quality Management
Monitor overall site progress, productivity, workmanship quality, safety implementation, and compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
- Review and resolve technical, construction, and coordination issues to minimize project delays and operational risks.
- Ensure all inspections, testing, and quality control processes are completed before project handover.
- Verify work completion, final inspection reports, and work measurement (Opname) submitted by the Project Team before approval.
- Client & Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, landlords, building management, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Lead regular project progress meetings and provide timely updates on project status, key milestones, potential risks, and mitigation plans.
- Team Leadership & Continuous Improvement
- Lead, coach, and supervise Project Coordinators, Project Supervisors, and HSE Officers to achieve project objectives.
- Foster a collaborative, accountable, and high-performance project team culture.
Conduct project close-out reviews and lessons learned sessions with the Project, Marketing, and related teams to drive continuous improvement.
Manage the project retention period and ensure all outstanding issues and defect rectifications are completed within the agreed timeline.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in
- Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering
- , or relevant field.
- Minimum
- 10 years of experience in Interior Design & Build / Fit-Out
- , specifically handling
- Office and Retail projects
- Strong understanding of
- fit-out construction, working drawings, project planning, and site coordination
- Proven experience managing
- project scope, timeline, quality, budget, contractors, and project teams
- Strong
- leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in
- Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and 3D software
- Possess a
- private vehicle and valid driver's license
