a network of enterprises representing diverse commodity value chains. KCN connects businesses committed to responsible bioeconomy-based practices, while KEM supports their growth through business acceleration, investment readiness, ecosystem partnerships, peer learning, and access to strategic markets and financing.
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
- We are seeking a highly organized and proactive
- Project Officer
- to support the
- Project Manager – Portfolio & Companies Network
- in implementing the
- KEM Companies Network (KCN)
- and related business ecosystem initiatives. The Project Officer will
- support programme coordination, portfolio management, stakeholder engagement, project operations, and knowledge management
to ensure the effective delivery of KCN programmes and strategic partnerships. Working closely with portfolio companies, ecosystem partners, consultants, and internal teams, the role contributes to strengthening Indonesia’s responsible bioeconomy ecosystem through collaborative programme implementation of 20 portfolio companies.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Administration & Operations
Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, meeting minutes, presentations, and project documentation.
Support logistical arrangements, procurement processes, and consultant administration for programme activities in accordance with organizational procedures.
- Maintain organized project records, filing systems, and programme documentation.
- Programme & Project Support
- Support the implementation of KEM Companies Network (KCN) programmes and related business ecosystem initiatives.
- Assist in organizing meetings, workshops, cohort sessions, field visits, and other programme activities.
- Maintain project workplans, activity trackers, and implementation records to support programme delivery.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Support communication and follow-up with portfolio companies, KEM members, consultants, and ecosystem partners.
- Maintain stakeholder databases, company profiles, and engagement records.
- Assist in business profiling, portfolio mapping, and background research.
- Monitoring, Reporting & Knowledge Management
- Support programme monitoring by maintaining implementation trackers, collecting programme data, and documenting outputs and outcomes.
- Assist in preparing reports, briefing notes, presentations, donor reporting inputs, and other programme documentation.
- Capture lessons learned, case studies, and knowledge products to support continuous learning and programme improvement.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s / Master degree
- in Business Administration, Management, Sustainability, Environmental Studies, Agribusinesses, Forestry, Economics or related fields.
- 1-3 years of experience
in project implementation, programme administration, stakeholder engagement, business support, or ecosystem development in a multi-stakeholder and interdisciplinary setting.
- Legally authorized to work in Indonesia.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Good research, analytical, and report writing skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel and PowerPoint) and Google Workspace. Familiarity with project management tools is an advantage.
A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in a multi-stakeholder environment.
Demonstrated interest in sustainability, responsible bioeconomy, climate, nature-based solutions, regenerative business, or ecosystem development.
- Willingness to travel domestically as required.

- Grant-funded August 2026 until November 2027 (15 months)

Reporting
- The Project Officer will
- report directly to
- Project Manager – Portfolio & Companies Network
- and work closely with KCN and business ecosystem initiatives.
- Duty Station
- : Jakarta, Indonesia (hybrid), with travel necessary based on the needs.
