Quality Assurance Engineer

TASK AND DUTIES

• Risk identification and mitigation through robust test planning, analysis, and accurate work/resource estimation.
• Design and execute test cases for web applications, and mobile applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and developers to identify and resolve issues.
• Perform manual and automated testing to ensure software quality and functionality.
• Track, document, and manage risks and issues throughout the testing lifecycle.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders and vendors to ensure seamless delivery.
• Align testing efforts with business requirements through stakeholder engagement.
• Providing input into improving testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Document and track bugs and issues clearly and effectively.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Moderate ability to code (e.g. Javascript, Python).
• A strong understanding of testing methodologies, including functional, regression, and integration testing.
• A proactive attitude and the ability to adapt when required.
• Eye for details and the ability to anticipate potential issues, identify edge cases, and propose efficient solutions.
• Strong knowledge in automated testing tools: Selenium, Appium, Cypress, TestNG, and similar frameworks.

Strong knowledge in API testing tools such as Postman, Apidog, or Jmeter, and the ability to validate data flows and system interactions effectively.

• Strong experience conducting both functional and non-functional tests, including performance, load, stress, and security testing.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and their integration with automated tests.
