About the role

• PT Nellco is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented
• Quality Assurance Specialist for Pharmaceutical Industries

to join our quality management team. This is a full-time position based in East Jakarta, Jakarta. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all pharmaceutical products and processes meet stringent quality standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. You will play a critical part in safeguarding product integrity, patient safety, and compliance with pharmaceutical regulations, making this position strategically important to our operations and reputation.

Key responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive quality inspections and testing of pharmaceutical products at various stages of production to ensure compliance with established quality standards

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures and documentation systems specific to pharmaceutical manufacturing
• Perform analysis of test results and identify any deviations or non-conformances, initiating corrective actions as necessary
• Monitor and evaluate production processes to identify potential quality risks and implement preventative measures
• Collaborate with production, research, and regulatory teams to ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines
• Prepare and maintain detailed quality assurance reports, batch records, and regulatory documentation
• Conduct internal audits and inspections to verify compliance with company policies and pharmaceutical regulations
• Support regulatory inspections and audits by external authorities, providing necessary documentation and explanations
• Investigate product complaints and quality issues, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality systems and manufacturing processes
• What we're looking for
• Apothecary Degree.

Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in quality assurance or quality control within pharmaceutical manufacturing or a closely related industry

• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations, GMP standards, and quality management systems (ISO 9001 or equivalent)
• Proficiency in laboratory testing techniques and analytical methods relevant to pharmaceutical products
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify deviations and non-conformances in products and processes
• Competence in statistical analysis and data interpretation for quality control purposes
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in Indonesian and English, with the ability to document findings clearly and concisely
• Ability to work independently whilst collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
• Familiarity with quality management software and documentation systems
• Professional certification in quality assurance, such as certified quality auditor (CQA) or similar, is preferred but not essential
