Sales and Trading Assistant in Global Markets is in charge of assisting both sales and trading desk in various operational aspects including troubleshoot issues within the dealing room, analyze market data, establish market update, assist main Trader and Salesperson in daily activities and monitor the implementation Global Markets and ALM Treasury procedures on a day-to-day basis.
- Direct Responsibilities
- Assisting traders and sales through various operational aspects
- Manage rigorous booking and monitoring deal tickets
- Manage ad-hoc requests related to trading, sales and ALM Treasury activities
- Attend to queries from clients when main Trader or Salesperson are absent or engaged such as providing price quotation, market update, etc
- Prepare necessary product documentation for marketing and regulatory purposes
- Responsible in preparing marketing materials for client presentation
- Troubleshoot issues within dealing room
- Liaise closely with various support team (i.e. IT, Middle Office, Back Office)
- Actively communicate with traders and sales on trading and cash position
- Contributing Responsibilities
- Analyze market data and establish market update
- Gather research ideas and perform market updates
- Perform data analyzing from reports and/or Global Markets and ALM Treasury applications
- Contribute and monitor Global Markets and ALM Treasury procedures
- Assist traders and sales to monitor both external (regulatory) and internal limits
- Gather optimization/automation ideas to reduce operational risk and other risks
