About the role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Manager (Wheel Loader) to join our sales team in Pekanbaru, Riau and Pontianak, West Kalimantan on a full-time basis. In this strategic position, you will be responsible for driving sales of our wheel loader equipment across the region, managing key accounts, and expanding our market presence. As Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in achieving our ambitious sales targets whilst building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and distributors. This role offers significant opportunities for professional growth within a rapidly expanding business.

• Key responsibilities
• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets for wheel loader equipment
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Pekanbaru region and surrounding areas
• Manage and nurture relationships with key customers, distributors and strategic partners
• Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to potential and existing clients
• Prepare and present sales proposals, quotations and contracts to customers
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer needs to inform sales strategies
• Provide technical support and consultancy to customers regarding wheel loader specifications and applications
• Collaborate with internal teams including finance, operations and after-sales service to ensure customer satisfaction
• Maintain accurate sales records, customer data and pipeline management using CRM systems
• Report on sales performance, market insights and business development activities to senior management
• What we're looking for
• Minimum 5 years of sales management experience in heavy equipment, machinery or related industrial sector
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets consistently
• Strong knowledge of wheel loaders, construction equipment or similar heavy machinery
• Excellent negotiation and closing skills with the ability to manage complex sales cycles
• Experience in managing key accounts and developing long-term customer relationships
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office applications
• Fluent in Indonesian and English (verbal and written)
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently whilst collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel within the region
• Preferably based in or willing to relocate to Pekanbaru, Riau
• Experience with direct customer engagement in the construction, mining or infrastructure sectors would be advantageous
