About the Role
- We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive
- Legal Staff
- to support the company's legal, licensing, documentation, and compliance needs.
The Legal Staff will be responsible for ensuring that company activities, business permits, agreements, and legal documents are properly prepared, maintained, and compliant with applicable regulations.
This position will work closely with Management, HR, Finance, Operations, Marketing, and other departments across the company's business units.
- Key Responsibilities
- Legal & Corporate Documentation
- Prepare, review, organize, and maintain company legal documents.
- Maintain corporate documents including company deeds, NIB, NPWP, business licenses, certificates, and other legal records.
- Ensure all legal documents are properly filed and easily accessible.
- Monitor document validity and renewal deadlines.
- Business Licensing & Government Administration
- Handle and monitor company business licenses and permits through relevant government platforms.
- Maintain and update
- NIB, KBLI, OSS, and other business licensing requirements
- Assist with licensing requirements for new branches, business activities, and company expansions.
- Coordinate with government institutions, notaries, consultants, and other external parties when required.
- Monitor regulatory changes that may affect the company's business activities.
- Contract & Agreement Management
- Prepare and review basic business agreements, contracts, partnership agreements, vendor agreements, rental agreements, and other legal documents.
- Maintain a contract database and monitor contract expiry dates.
- Ensure agreements are properly signed and documented.
- Coordinate with Management and relevant departments regarding contract negotiations and revisions.
- Identify potential legal risks in agreements and escalate important matters to Management or external legal counsel.
- Compliance
- Monitor compliance with applicable laws and regulations related to the company's business activities.
- Assist Management in identifying and mitigating legal and regulatory risks.
- Ensure required company documents and permits are up to date.
- Maintain a legal compliance checklist for each business unit and branch.
- Legal Administration
- Maintain an organized digital and physical legal filing system.
- Prepare legal correspondence, letters, statements, and supporting documents.
- Keep records of agreements, licenses, permits, certificates, and other legal documents.
- Prepare regular reports regarding the status of company legal documents and licenses.
- Support for Business Operations
- Provide legal support to departments when needed.
- Assist with legal documentation related to suppliers, dealers, partners, landlords, customers, and other business relationships.
- Support Management in new business projects, branch openings, partnerships, and expansion activities.
- Coordinate with external lawyers, notaries, consultants, and government offices when necessary.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Law.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience as Legal Staff, Legal Officer, Corporate Legal, or similar position.
- Fresh graduates with strong knowledge and relevant internship experience are welcome to apply.
- Good understanding of Indonesian business regulations and licensing.
- Familiar with
OSS, NIB, KBLI
- , and basic corporate/legal administration.
- Good understanding of contracts and business agreements.
- Strong attention to detail and document management skills.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Able to work independently and coordinate with multiple departments.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace.
- Good English communication skills are preferred.

- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience handling business licensing and OSS.
- Experience working with notaries, government institutions, or external legal consultants.
- Experience in retail, hospitality, F&B, rental, tourism, or other multi-business environments.
- Understanding of company compliance for multiple business units and branches.
- Ability to identify potential legal risks before they become operational problems.
- Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
- Company licenses and permits are maintained and renewed on time.
- Legal documents are complete, organized, and easily accessible.
- Contracts are properly documented and monitored.
- No missed legal or licensing renewal deadlines.
- Accurate and timely handling of legal administration.
- Effective coordination with government institutions, notaries, consultants, and internal departments.
- Potential legal and compliance risks are identified and reported to Management promptly.
