SmartM2M Co., Ltd. is a Korean technology company in blockchain, cybersecurity, and port and maritime systems, headquartered in Centum, Busan. This is a direct hire of our Korea HQ, based on-site at our Bandung office.

The role

As a Senior AI / LLM Engineer, you will lead the design and development of LLM-powered and agentic systems, from architecture decisions to production deployment. You will work directly with HQ engineering and security teams on initiatives that include agentic applications, RAG and fine-tuning pipelines, and AI security work such as LLM red teaming, guardrails, and model evaluation. Based in Bandung, you will also help shape technical direction and mentor engineers on the local team, serving as a key bridge between HQ and our Indonesia branch.

• What we are looking for
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience working with LLMs or building agentic applications

Proven track record of delivering production AI systems, demonstrated through shipped products, publications, open-source contributions, or a portfolio you can walk us through

• Deep proficiency in Python and strong experience with agent frameworks, RAG architectures, fine-tuning, and model evaluation
• Experience working with both commercial and open-source models, including deployment and optimization
• Ability to work independently, lead technical decisions, and communicate clearly in English with Korean and Indonesian teams
• Experience in AI security, red teaming, or adversarial testing is a strong plus
• What we offer
• Annual salary of approximately KRW 31 million under direct employment by SmartM2M headquarters
• On-site role at our Bandung office, working directly with the HQ core R&D team in Korea
