About the role
Responsible for managing the full set of accounts for PT Jemco Manufacturing Indonesia, including financial reporting, month-end closing, inventory/costing and statutory compliance. The role requires an accounting professional with strong knowledge of accounting standards and Indonesian local authority requirements. As a newly established manufacturing company, the role will also support the setup of accounting processes and controls.
What you will do
- Manage the full set of accounts, including GL, AP, AR, cash/bank, fixed assets and month-end closing.
- Establish and maintain proper accounting processes, procedures and internal controls for the newly established company.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, management reports and supporting schedules.
- Perform bank, balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing activities accurately and within deadlines.
- Handle accounting for raw materials, WIP and finished goods.
- Support manufacturing costing, production cost analysis and inventory reconciliation.
- Monitor inventory movements and investigate stock/cost variances.
- Support physical stock counts and ensure appropriate accounting treatment of inventory adjustments.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and applicable local statutory requirements.
What you need to have
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably with full-set accounting exposure.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing company is strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of accounting standards and local Indonesian statutory requirements.
- Good knowledge of Indonesian taxation and compliance requirements.
- Practical experience in inventory accounting and manufacturing costing.
- Experience dealing with auditors, tax consultants and/or Indonesian authorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP/SAP systems.
- Experience with SAP Business One or other ERP systems is an advantage.
- Good command of Bahasa Indonesia and English.
