Senior Odoo Technical Consultant

Wedison Group is seeking an experienced Senior Odoo Technical Consultant to lead the technical development and continuous enhancement of our Odoo ERP platform. This role will be responsible for designing scalable ERP solutions, developing custom modules, integrating third-party applications, and ensuring the stability, performance, and long-term sustainability of our Odoo environment.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions while driving system improvements across the organization.

• Key Responsibilities
• Lead the technical ownership of the Odoo ERP platform, including customization, development, maintenance, and production support.
• Design, develop, and enhance custom Odoo modules, workflows, reports, and business logic using Python and the Odoo framework.
• Build, manage, and maintain integrations between Odoo and external systems through REST APIs, XML-RPC, and other integration methods.
• Optimize PostgreSQL databases, troubleshoot performance issues, and ensure data integrity.
• Plan and execute system upgrades, version migrations, testing, and deployments with minimal business disruption.
• Configure security rules, user access controls, automation, scheduled actions, and server-side processes.
• Perform data migration, ETL processes, bulk data import, and data validation.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable technical solutions.
• Review technical deliverables from external implementation partners and maintain coding standards and best practices.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation for customizations, integrations, and system enhancements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 4–6 years of hands-on experience in Odoo technical development or Odoo ERP implementation.
• Strong proficiency in Python and the Odoo framework.
• Solid understanding of PostgreSQL, Odoo ORM, XML, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience developing custom Odoo modules and integrating third-party applications.
• Familiarity with REST API, XML-RPC, Git, Linux/Ubuntu, Docker, or Odoo.sh.
• Strong analytical thinking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Preferred Qualifications
• Experience supporting multi-company or multi-country Odoo environments.
• Experience in retail, distribution, manufacturing, finance, or supply chain business processes.
• Experience leading ERP implementation or migration projects.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, release management, and software development best practices.
• Odoo Certification will be considered an advantage.
