Our spare parts sourcing and supply service, PartSafari, supports customer inquiries and RFQs by leveraging our inventory, supplier networks in Indonesia and overseas, and technology.

Position Overview
The Sourcing & Procurement Leader is responsible for leading the PartSafari Sourcing Team and achieving high performance in Speed, Accuracy, Availability, and Cost Competitiveness across a large volume of customer inquiries.
At PartSafari, sourcing speed is not simply an internal efficiency metric. The ability to quickly identify parts, secure available inventory or suppliers, and provide viable options directly contributes to reducing customer downtime.
This role requires more than strong individual sourcing skills.
You will be responsible for building a high-performing team through KPI Management, Work Allocation, Coaching, Supplier Development, Process Improvement, and Technology.
You will also work closely with the Tech Team to improve, standardize, and automate operations. Rather than relying only on people to work harder, we expect this role to improve the systems and processes themselves.

- Key Responsibilities
- Lead Sourcing, Procurement & Import Operations
- Lead sourcing activities for customer inquiries and RFQs
- Identify and select suppliers in Indonesia and overseas
- Compare Price, Quality, Availability, and Lead Time to develop the best procurement options
- Personally support difficult sourcing cases when required
- Negotiate Price, Payment Terms, Lead Time, and other commercial conditions
- Manage the process from Customer PO through Purchasing and Vendor Payment
- Manage both On-Demand and Inventory Procurement
- Understand and manage Import Processes related to International Procurement, including Lead Time, Cost, Documentation, and associated risks
Daily import operations may be handled by designated team members, but the Sourcing & Procurement Leader is expected to understand the overall process and take responsibility for its performance and risks.
- Manage Team Performance
- Set and manage Sourcing Team goals and KPIs
- Monitor metrics such as Inquiry Volume, SKU Proposal Rate, and Quotation Lead Time
- Understand each Team Member's strengths, weaknesses, capabilities, and workload
- Allocate work appropriately and provide coaching and support
- Review performance daily and weekly and take action when issues arise
- Build repeatable operations using KPIs, SOPs, Tools, Training, and proper Work Allocation
- The objective is to build a team that consistently delivers strong results without depending excessively on specific individuals.
- Develop Suppliers
- Continuously expand the Supplier Network in Indonesia and overseas
- Evaluate suppliers based on Price, Response Speed, Availability, Quality, and Reliability
- Build competitive supplier bases by Product Category
- Secure alternative sources where necessary
- Monitor market prices and supplier capabilities
- Build supplier relationships that improve Price, Availability, Lead Time, and Commercial Terms
- Solve Problems and Prevent Recurrence
Take ownership of operational problems such as
- Vendor stock becoming unavailable after Customer PO
- Vendor price changes or delivery delays
- Wrong Part / Wrong Order
- Incomplete or changing customer specifications
- Purchase cost increases and margin deterioration
- Import or logistics issues
- Solving the immediate issue is not enough.
You are expected to identify Root Causes and improve SOPs, Supplier Management, Systems, Tools, or Processes so that the same problem does not repeatedly occur.
- Improve Processes & Technology
- Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in Sourcing Operations
- Improve Quotation Speed, Accuracy, SKU Proposal Rate, and Cost Competitiveness
- Use our proprietary systems, Odoo, Spreadsheets, and other tools to reduce manual work
- Work with the Tech Team to systemize and automate processes
- Create and maintain SOPs
- Use Metrics to measure the impact of improvements
- Work across Sales, Delivery Operations, Warehouse, Import / Export, Finance, and Management to improve the End-to-End Process

- Required Qualifications
- Must-Have
- 3+ years of experience in Procurement, Purchasing, Sourcing, Supply Chain, or a related field
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in Import Operations
- Experience leading a small team or multiple team members
- Ability to manage a large number of inquiries and tasks and prioritize effectively
- Experience in Supplier Sourcing and commercial negotiation
- Strong Problem-Solving skills and ability to independently design and execute solutions
- Ability to use Excel / Google Sheets to manage performance quantitatively
- Strong Ownership and Professionalism
- Business-level communication skills in English
- Ability and willingness to proactively learn new Products, Industries, and Markets
- Preferred Qualifications
- Sourcing experience in Construction Equipment, Heavy Equipment, Trucks, Automotive Parts, or related industries
- Experience in Mining-related businesses
- International or China Sourcing experience
- ERP / Procurement System experience
- Vendor Development or Supplier Network expansion experience
- Process Improvement / Automation experience
- Chinese or Japanese language skills
