• Ferro Ubud is looking for an exceptional team player to join as Steward.
• Key Responsibilities
• Wash, clean, and sanitize dishes, glassware, cutlery, kitchen utensils, pots, pans, and other equipment.
• Ensure all cleaned items are properly stored and readily available for use.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, dishwashing area, service areas, and other assigned spaces.
• Dispose of food waste and garbage properly according to restaurant procedures.
• Keep garbage bins, drains, floors, walls, and other kitchen areas clean and hygienic.
• Assist with cleaning kitchen equipment, work surfaces, storage areas, and other facilities as assigned.
• Ensure adequate supply of cleaning materials and report shortages to the Supervisor.
• Handle cleaning chemicals safely and according to established procedures.
• Follow proper hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards at all times.
• Assist the kitchen team with basic cleaning, preparation, and support tasks when required.
• Maintain proper organization of cleaning tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Report damaged equipment, plumbing issues, safety hazards, or maintenance concerns to the Supervisor immediately.
• Support opening and closing duties, including cleaning and preparation of the kitchen and restaurant areas.
• Follow all company policies, SOPs, health and safety regulations, and workplace standards.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor or Restaurant Manager.

Requirements

• Minimum high school education or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a Steward, Dishwasher, Kitchen Helper, or similar F&B role is preferred.
• Good understanding of basic cleanliness and sanitation practices.
• Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Able to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
• Responsible, disciplined, and able to follow instructions.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, public holidays, and overtime when required.
• Able to work with cleaning chemicals and kitchen equipment safely.
