About the role

• We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented
• Steward
• to join the kitchen and hospitality team at Shinkai Pool 'n Cafe. This is a
• full-time position
• based in
• Bekasi Utara, Jawa Barat

. As a Steward, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness, organisation and efficiency of our kitchen and dining areas. Your work will directly contribute to creating a hygienic and welcoming environment for our guests, ensuring that all kitchen equipment, utensils and facilities are properly maintained and readily available for our culinary team.

• Key responsibilities
• Washing, sanitising and storing kitchen equipment, utensils, crockery and glassware in accordance with food safety and hygiene standards
• Maintaining cleanliness of kitchen floors, countertops, walls and all food preparation areas throughout the day
• Organising and restocking kitchen supplies, ensuring that all necessary items are readily available for kitchen staff
• Properly disposing of waste and managing recycling in accordance with company procedures and environmental guidelines
• Assisting with the setup and breakdown of dining and pool areas as required
• Operating dishwashing equipment and ensuring efficient workflow within the kitchen support area
• Reporting any equipment damage, maintenance issues or food safety concerns to management immediately
• Supporting kitchen and front-of-house staff with general tasks to maintain smooth café operations
• What we're looking for
• Previous experience as a Steward, Kitchen Assistant or similar hospitality support role
• Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene and sanitation protocols
• Physical ability to lift heavy items, stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Reliable, punctual and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions from kitchen management
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures and technologies
• Fluency in Indonesian; English language skills are advantageous
