- UMAI is an F&B company operating multiple Japanese food brands in Indonesia.
As our food delivery and franchise network continues to grow, we are strengthening our supply chain system to ensure that every outlet receives the right products, in the right quantity and quality, at the right price and time.
- We are looking for a hands-on
- Supply Chain Supervisor
who can multitask and manage the entire supply chain process, including purchasing, procurement, Purchase Orders, inventory, warehouse operations, delivery, and logistics.
- Position Details
- Position : Supply Chain Supervisor
- Location : Jakarta / Jabodetabek operational area
- Employment type : Full-time
- Work arrangement : On-site with operational field visits
- Monthly salary : Rp4,000,000 – Rp7,000,000
- Final salary will be determined based on experience, skills, and performance
- Candidates who can communicate in Japanese will receive additional salary consideration based on their proficiency
- Key Responsibilities
- Purchasing and Procurement
- Search for, compare, and evaluate new suppliers.
- Negotiate prices, minimum order quantities, product quality, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Create, issue, and monitor Purchase Orders.
- Ensure that received products match the quantity, price, and quality stated in the Purchase Order.
- Build and maintain good relationships with existing suppliers.
- Identify alternative suppliers to prevent stock shortages and delivery delays.
- Regularly evaluate supplier pricing, quality, and delivery performance.
- Inventory Management
- Manage inventory for frozen, chilled, dry goods, and packaging materials.
- Monitor incoming stock, outgoing stock, minimum stock, safety stock, and reorder points.
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock counts.
- Ensure physical inventory matches inventory records.
- Prevent stockouts, overstocking, inventory loss, and slow-moving stock.
- Monitor product shelf life and expiration dates.
- Implement FIFO and FEFO systems.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Warehouse Management
- Manage product receiving, storage, picking, and dispatch processes.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness, hygiene, safety, and organization.
- Organize an efficient warehouse layout.
- Ensure that all food products are stored under the correct conditions and temperatures.
- Create and implement warehouse SOPs.
- Manage all receiving and dispatch documentation.
- Logistics and Delivery
- Prepare delivery schedules for all outlets.
- Coordinate with delivery partners, drivers, suppliers, and outlet teams.
- Ensure products are delivered on time, in the correct quantity, and in good condition.
- Optimize delivery routes, frequency, and costs.
- Resolve delivery delays, missing items, damaged products, and other delivery issues.
- Monitor delivery documentation and confirm receipt by each outlet.
- Planning and Reporting
- Forecast ingredient requirements based on outlet sales and order data.
- Prepare purchasing and inventory replenishment plans.
- Create reports covering purchasing, inventory, warehouse operations, suppliers, and deliveries.
- Monitor purchase prices, logistics costs, waste, and inventory discrepancies.
- Manage and analyze data using Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Provide regular reports and improvement recommendations to management.
- Coordination and Process Improvement
- Coordinate with the Operations, Finance, Franchise, Supplier, and Outlet teams.
- Support the development of UMAI’s supply chain system.
- Create, implement, and improve SOPs for purchasing, inventory, warehouse, and delivery operations.
- Identify operational problems and resolve them quickly.
- Support the future development of UMAI’s central warehouse and central kitchen.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the F&B industry.
- Experience working for a restaurant franchise company.
- Candidates who can communicate in Japanese will be given additional priority.
- Japanese-speaking candidates will be eligible for a salary increase based on their proficiency.
- Experience managing food supply and deliveries for multiple outlets.
- Experience managing a central kitchen or food warehouse.
- Experience building new operational systems and SOPs.
- Candidates who can join immediately will be prioritized.

We are looking for someone who is not limited to supervising and giving instructions, but is also willing to work directly on operational tasks.
The successful candidate must be able to manage the entire supply chain process, including supplier sourcing, price negotiation, purchasing, Purchase Order preparation, inventory control, warehouse management, delivery arrangements, and confirmation of product receipt by outlets.
