About the role
Automotive Technician role involving inspection, diagnosis, and repair of mechanical and electrical damage on customer vehicles, as well as routine maintenance services.
- Key responsibilities
- Perform inspection, diagnosis, and repair of mechanical and electrical damage on customer vehicles
- Conduct routine maintenance including oil changes, tune-ups, brake service, and other services according to standard operating procedures
- Explain vehicle condition and repair recommendations to Service Advisors or customers clearly
- Maintain cleanliness of work area, completeness of workshop equipment, and security of customer vehicles during repair
- About you
- Minimum education: SMK Teknik Kendaraan Ringan (TKR) / Automotive or Diploma (D3) Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 2 years work experience as a technician/mechanic in an official workshop or leading general workshop
- Proficiency with engine scanner, electrical system repair, understeel (suspension), and engine overhaul
- Strong problem analysis (troubleshooting) ability, honest, disciplined, and responsible
- Able to work independently and within a team
- Active SIM A (driving license) is an added value
