Testing & Commissioning Engineer
Location
South Jakarta (with site assignments as required)
About the Company
Our client is a growing Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning (EPCC) company delivering integrated engineering solutions for industrial projects across Indonesia.
- Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute commissioning plans, schedules, and strategies for project execution.
- Lead pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up, functional testing, integrated testing, and Site Acceptance Test (SAT) activities.
- Coordinate commissioning activities with engineering, project, instrumentation, vendors, subcontractors, and clients.
- Verify system readiness, troubleshoot technical issues, and perform root cause analysis.
- Manage punch list closure and ensure corrective actions are completed before project handover.
- Prepare commissioning documentation, including Commissioning Reports, Test Reports, SAT Reports, and as-built documentation.
- Provide technical support during start-up, warranty periods, and post-commissioning activities.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, international standards, contractual requirements, and QHSSE procedures.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Control Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Physics, or a related discipline.
- Minimum
- 7 years of experience
- in Testing & Commissioning, Commissioning, Start-up, System Integration, or Project Engineering.
- Experience in
- EPCC, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power Plant, Renewable Energy
- , or other industrial projects.
- Proven experience leading pre-commissioning, commissioning, SAT, troubleshooting, and system acceptance activities.
- Strong knowledge of PLC/DCS systems, control philosophy, functional testing, commissioning planning, and troubleshooting.
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams, vendors, and clients throughout project execution.
- Good communication skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.
- Willing to travel and work on project sites as required.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Commissioning & Start-up Training.
- PLC/DCS System Training.
- CompEx or Hazardous Area Certification.
- Vendor certifications (Siemens, Yokogawa, Emerson, Honeywell, ABB, Schneider, Rockwell, etc.).
- QHSSE / K3 Certification.
