PASTI BISA is a job training and employment program in Belitung, Indonesia, equipping people from vulnerable communities with vocational skills, life skills, and confidence to secure dignified employment. We bridge the gap between frontline care organizations and values-aligned employers.

LIVING AND WORKING IN BELITUNG

Belitung is just a short 50-minute flight from Jakarta, often less time than the average city commute. The island now has a direct flight to Singapore, with two more routes currently in development. It's a genuinely beautiful place to live: white sand beaches, crystal-clear water, no traffic jams, no pollution, and a low crime rate. For those looking to build a life here, it's a safe and welcoming place to raise a family.

ABOUT THIS ROLE

As a Trainer / Facilitator, you will guide learning experiences that help participants grow into confident, professional, and work-ready individuals. You’ll play a key role in creating a safe, engaging, and transformational learning environment - directly influencing participants’ growth and their pathways to dignified employment.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Facilitate job readiness training and participant learning activities.
• Prepare and adapt lesson plans, materials, and practical exercises.
• Coach participants in professionalism, confidence, and workplace habits.
• Monitor participant progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with the team to strengthen training quality and outcomes.
• Support documentation, assessments, and program improvement.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Experience in training, facilitation, coaching, teaching, or development of adults
• Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills.
• Ability to engage diverse participants with empathy and professionalism.
• A service-oriented mindset and passion for helping others succeed.
• Willingness to work full-time and on-site in Belitung.
• Effective verbal English communication.

A background in training, education, team leadership, or other roles requiring presentation and audience engagement is desirable. While experience working in a trauma informed environment is an asset, training on site will be provided to support growth in this area.
