About the role
SMK Satya Bhakti Ilmu Grobogan, a vocational secondary school focused on Advertising, Arts & Media, is seeking an experienced and passionate Graphic Design Teacher. In this role, you will play an important part in equipping students with the graphic design skills needed for their success in the creative industry.
- Key responsibilities
- Design and implement a comprehensive and up-to-date graphic design curriculum for vocational students
- Provide practical instruction and guidance in various design software such as Adobe Creative Suite
- Facilitate graphic design projects that engage students in developing their portfolios
- Evaluate and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback
- Collaborate with other teaching staff to ensure continuity of learning and curriculum development
- Serve as a mentor and inspiration to students, helping them discover their creative potential
- About you
- Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in vocational schools or vocational education institutions
- Proficient in industry-standard design software such as Adobe Creative Suite
- Deep understanding of current design trends and advanced techniques
- Good communication skills, ability to motivate, and patience in teaching
- Enthusiasm for continuous learning and innovation in graphic design teaching
