About the role

• We are seeking a talented
• Vendor Management International
• professional to join our team in Jakarta on a
• full-time basis

. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for managing our international vendor relationships and ensuring seamless coordination across our global freight forwarding operations. You will play a crucial part in optimising our vendor partnerships, maintaining service quality standards, and supporting the growth of our international logistics business. This position is integral to our operations, directly impacting our ability to deliver reliable and cost-effective freight and cargo forwarding services to our clients worldwide.

• Key responsibilities
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard international shipping lines, overseas agents, and consolidators to expand our service capabilities.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors across multiple countries and regions
• Monitor vendor performance against agreed service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with international vendors to secure competitive rates and favourable terms
• Maintain comprehensive vendor databases and documentation for compliance and reporting purposes
• Liaise with finance and procurement departments regarding vendor invoicing and payment processes
• Prepare vendor performance reports and provide recommendations for continuous improvement
• What we're looking for
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field

Minimum 2 years of experience in vendor management or pricing or procurement or sourcing, preferably in the freight forwarding or logistics industry

• Experience in reaching out to and communicating with international shipping lines.
• Strong knowledge of international logistics operations and freight forwarding processes
• Excellent negotiation and contract management skills
• Proficiency in English with strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple vendor relationships simultaneously
• Professional integrity and the ability to build trust with international partners
