- Role Overview
As a Service Crew Member, you will play an important role in delivering excellent customer service and supporting smooth restaurant operations in a Chinese F&B restaurant environment. You will be responsible for supporting various service stations, including cashier, bar, hostess, dine-in and takeaway operations.
- Key Responsibilities
- 🔸 Cashier
- Greet customers warmly and process dine-in and takeaway orders accurately.
- Handle cash, credit card and digital payments responsibly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier station.
- 🔸 Bar Crew
- Prepare and serve Chinese teas, soft drinks and other beverages according to established standards.
- Ensure consistency, quality and presentation of all beverages.
- Maintain proper hygiene, cleanliness and food safety standards.
- 🔸 Hostess / Guest Service
- Welcome and assist customers professionally upon arrival.
- Manage reservations, walk-ins and table seating efficiently.
- Provide attentive and courteous service throughout the dining experience.
- Maintain a friendly and composed manner, particularly during peak periods.
- 🔸 Main Station Coordinator – Dine-In & Takeaway
- Coordinate the smooth flow of dine-in and takeaway orders.
- Liaise closely with the kitchen, service and delivery teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment.
- Monitor order progress and proactively resolve service issues.
- Communicate clearly with team members to maintain efficient restaurant operations.
- Job Requirements
- Prior experience in a Chinese F&B / restaurant environment is an advantage.
- Customer-oriented with a positive, friendly and service-focused attitude.
Able to communicate effectively in both English and Mandarin is essential, as the restaurant serves both Chinese-speaking and non-Chinese-speaking customers.
- Energetic, responsible and able to work effectively in a team.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced Chinese restaurant environment.
- Willing to learn, take initiative and develop new skills.
- Able to stand for extended periods and carry food trays when required.
- Prior F&B experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for suitable candidates.
