About the role
A Waitress/Server role in a restaurant or hospitality environment, responsible for delivering excellent guest service, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining service standards throughout the dining experience.
- Key responsibilities
- Welcome and greet guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Present menus, explain menu items, and assist guests with their selections
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
- Serve food and beverages according to Barboa's service standards
- Ensure orders are delivered correctly and in a timely manner
- Monitor guest needs and provide attentive service throughout their dining experience
- Handle guest requests, questions, and complaints professionally
- Coordinate effectively with the kitchen, bar, and other team members
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, dining areas, and service stations
- Perform opening and closing duties according to the daily checklist
- About you
- 1-2 years of experience as a waitress/server in a restaurant, café, or hospitality environment is preferred
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic English communication skills
- Friendly, attentive, and customer-oriented
- Good personal grooming and professional appearance
- Responsible, disciplined, punctual, and reliable
- Able to work effectively as part of a team
- Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Good attention to detail and ability to work efficiently
- Physically fit and able to stand and walk for extended periods
