Job Description
- Supervise daily yard operations to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient container handling activities.
- Monitor container movement, stacking, loading/unloading, and yard utilization.
- Coordinate and manage yard operators and other operational teams.
- Monitor daily operational performance and ensure targets and KPIs are achieved.
- Ensure all yard activities are carried out according to SOP, safety, and operational standards.
- Identify operational issues and take appropriate corrective actions.
- Coordinate with related departments such as Operations, Transport, Customer Service, and Maintenance.
- Prepare daily operational reports and provide updates to management.
- Monitor manpower, equipment, and yard capacity to support operational requirements.
Requirements
Minimum
S1
- in Logistics, Transportation, Industrial Engineering, Management, or related field.
- Minimum
- 4 years of experience
- in yard operations, container depot, terminal, logistics, or related industry.
- Experience in
- container yard operations
- is highly preferred.
- Have experience supervising and managing an operational team.
- Good understanding of container handling, yard management, and operational processes.
- Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Able to work under pressure and in a fast-paced operational environment.
