3D Animator

About the role

You will be responsible for bringing imaginative concepts to life through high-quality 3D animation. As a 3D Animator, you will play a crucial role in developing visually compelling animated content. You will work collaboratively to ensure that every animation project exceeds expectations and aligns with our creative vision.

• Key responsibilities
• Create and produce high-quality 3D animations for various projects, including commercials, promotional videos, and digital content
• Develop storyboards and animatics to plan and visualise animation sequences before full production
• Model, rig, and animate 3D characters and objects using industry-standard software and tools
• Collaborate with art directors and creative leads to understand project briefs and deliver animations that match the creative vision
• Apply lighting, shading, texturing, and rendering techniques to enhance visual quality and realism
• Optimise animation files for various platforms and delivery formats whilst maintaining visual fidelity
• Incorporate client feedback and revisions throughout the animation production process
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging animation technologies to continuously improve your craft
• Meet project deadlines whilst maintaining high standards of creativity and technical excellence
• What we're looking for
• Proven experience as a 3D Animator with a portfolio demonstrating proficiency in character animation, motion graphics, or visual effects
• Advanced proficiency with industry-standard 3D animation software such as Maya, Blender, 3ds Max, or Cinema 4D
• Strong understanding of animation principles, including timing, spacing, and character movement
• Solid knowledge of 3D modelling, rigging, texturing, and rendering processes
• Excellent visual communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment whilst managing multiple projects simultaneously
