About Maison Bali
Maison Bali is a fast-growing architecture, interior design and villa development studio based in Canggu. In less than a year, we have built a community of over 500,000 followers and delivered projects for villas, restaurants, beach clubs and hotels in Bali, Thailand, Africa and beyond.
Hospitality is now the core of our growth, with boutique hotels, resorts and retreats in Bali, Lombok, the Nusa islands and East Africa. To deliver them, we are growing our technical team.
- We are looking for an Architectural Drafter who loves clean, precise drawings and wants to work on beautiful hotel and villa projects.
- What you will do
- Produce architectural working drawings: site plans, floor plans, sections, elevations, roof and ceiling plans, details and schedules
- Prepare permit (PBG) and tender drawing sets with our lead architect
- Draw construction details: stairs, roofs, facades, bathrooms, pools, decks and openings
- Integrate inputs from structural and MEP consultants and keep drawings coordinated
- Update drawings during construction (revisions and as-built) and answer contractor questions with the site team
- Support the design team with area calculations, quick 3D models and material quantities
- Keep drawing sets, revisions and file naming clean and organized on our shared drive
- What we are looking for
- 2+ years of experience as an architectural drafter
- Strong command of AutoCAD and SketchUp. Revit is a strong plus
- A portfolio with recent drawings you produced yourself (plans, sections, details)
- Good understanding of how buildings are built in Indonesia: structure, materials, standard dimensions and detailing
- Experience on hotels, resorts, villas or other hospitality projects is a strong plus
- Knowledge of tropical construction (timber, bamboo, alang-alang, natural stone) is a plus
- Working English (written), as our team and clients are international
- Precise, organized and comfortable with deadlines and feedback rounds
- Based in Bali (or relocating) and able to come to our Canggu studio on agreed days

- How we recruit
We start with a short, unpaid exercise (about 30 minutes) and a call, followed by a paid trial mission on a real project. If it goes well on both sides, we move forward with a full-time position.
