Maison Bali is a fast-growing interior design, architecture and villa development studio based in Canggu. In less than a year, we have built a community of over 500,000 followers and designed projects for restaurants, beach clubs, villas and hotels in Bali, Thailand, Africa and beyond.

Restaurants are a growing part of our work. Our clients want places people remember, share on Instagram and come back to. We design spaces that feel warm, natural and full of character, and that also work perfectly for the kitchen team, the staff and the guests.

• We are now looking for an Interior Designer with a strong portfolio of restaurant, café, bar or beach club projects.
• What you will do
• Lead restaurant, café, bar and beach club interior projects, from first concept to opening
• Create concepts, moodboards, material and color palettes that match each brand and its story

Design layouts that work: guest flow, seating capacity, bar and service stations, links between kitchen and dining room, toilets and back of house

• Design custom furniture, bars, counters, banquettes and lighting, and build complete FF&E lists
• Produce or supervise 3D models and renders (SketchUp, with AI rendering support from our team)
• Create "signature moments" for each venue: a facade, a bar, a wall or a lighting piece that guests want to photograph
• Prepare client presentations and present your design choices with confidence

Work with our drafters, architects, procurement team, contractors and furniture suppliers to make sure the design is built as intended, on time and on budget

• Do site visits in Bali when needed to follow construction and installation
• What we are looking for
• 3+ years of experience as an interior designer
• A portfolio with real, completed restaurant, café, bar or beach club projects. Hotel F&B experience is a plus

A good understanding of how a restaurant works: guest experience, service flow, kitchen constraints, acoustics, lighting and durable materials for heavy use

• A refined eye for natural, tropical and premium design (wood, stone, rattan, terrazzo, warm lighting)
• Good command of SketchUp and AutoCAD. Experience with renders (V-Ray, Enscape, D5 or similar) is a plus
• Good knowledge of materials, furniture construction and local suppliers in Bali or Java
• Good English (written and spoken), as most of our clients are international
• Organized and autonomous, able to handle several projects at the same time and tight opening dates
• Curious and open to new tools, including AI for concepts and visuals
