Civil Site Manager — Hardscape

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Civil Site Manager – Hardscape & Utilities Supervisor to lead the execution of hardscape, drainage, and utility infrastructure works across our developments. This role is responsible for managing daily site operations, coordinating contractors and resources, and ensuring all civil works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

• Key Responsibilities
• Site Operations
• Lead the daily execution of hardscape, drainage, and utility infrastructure works.
• Supervise the construction of roads, pathways, retaining structures, drainage systems, and underground utilities.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, equipment, and site workforce to ensure efficient project execution.
• Monitor excavation, grading, compaction, concrete works, paving, and utility installations to ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Manage daily work schedules, manpower allocation, and site productivity.
• Quality & Project Control
• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections and identify issues before they impact project progress.
• Maintain accurate site records, daily reports, progress updates, and project documentation.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Landscape, MEP, and Project Management teams to resolve site challenges and maintain project schedules.
• Safety & Leadership
• Promote and enforce safe working practices and compliance with company safety standards.
• Lead by example through a strong site presence and effective supervision.
• Develop productive working relationships with contractors and site teams.
• Drive continuous improvement in quality, efficiency, and site performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in civil construction, infrastructure, landscape construction, or site development projects.
• Strong experience in hardscape construction, drainage systems, utilities, and underground infrastructure.
• Proficient in reading, interpreting, and reviewing AutoCAD drawings, with working knowledge of SketchUp.
• Experience in excavation, grading, compaction, concrete works, paving, and utility installation.
• Experience in project planning, scheduling, procurement, and material coordination.

Ability to coordinate, plan, review, and monitor project activities to ensure work is completed according to quality standards and project timelines.

Proven ability to manage site workers, subcontractors, and supervisors, while maintaining productivity and discipline on site.

Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with Supervisors, Project Management, Engineering, and other stakeholders regarding staffing, work progress, scheduling, and operational requirements.

• Experienced in preparing daily site reports, progress updates, manpower reports, and project documentation.
• Excellent planning, organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced site environment.
• Fluent English is preferred.
