About the Role
- We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical
- Cost Control & Inventory Specialist
to manage our supply chain, inventory, and cost-efficiency. This is a critical role responsible for overseeing everything from supplier negotiation to system management and inventory accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement & Supplier Management
- Process and coordinate purchase orders from department heads to suppliers.
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure price reductions or lock in current prices for products requiring prepayment.
System & Data Management
- Maintain and operate the inventory management system.
- Generate regular reports (daily, weekly, monthly).
- Input new products from suppliers and create new menu items in the system.
- Calculate and set pricing for new menu items.
Inventory & Stock Control
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile stock balances.
- Investigate and correct data discrepancies and input errors.
- Record data related to product write-offs and spoilage.
Receiving & Quality Check
- Receive incoming goods from suppliers.
- Verify weight, quantity, and quality to ensure compliance with purchase orders.
Menu & Pricing Control
Monitor, audit, and update menu prices both in-house and on delivery aggregator platforms (e.g., GrabFood, GoFood).
