About the role
- We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated
- Daily Worker Waiters and Waitresses
- to join our team at Daimyo Bali in the vibrant heart of Seminyak. This is a
- part-time position
that offers flexible working arrangements, perfect for individuals seeking to develop their hospitality career or balance other commitments. As a waiter or waitress, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional service to our guests and ensuring every dining experience is memorable and enjoyable.
- Key responsibilities
- Greeting guests warmly upon arrival and seating them in accordance with restaurant layout and guest preferences
- Presenting menus and providing knowledgeable recommendations about our food and beverage offerings
- Taking accurate food and beverage orders from guests and communicating them clearly to the kitchen and bar teams
- Serving food and drinks promptly and professionally, ensuring correct items are delivered to the correct guests
- Checking in regularly with guests to ensure satisfaction with their meals and addressing any concerns or requests
- Processing payments and handling cash or card transactions accurately and securely
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the dining area, including clearing and resetting tables between service
- Supporting colleagues during busy service periods and assisting with general restaurant duties as needed
- Adhering to health and safety regulations and restaurant policies at all times
- What we're looking for
- Previous experience as a waiter, waitress, or in a similar customer-facing hospitality role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when taking orders and processing payments
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and move efficiently throughout the dining area
- A proactive and flexible approach to work with the ability to multitask effectively during busy service
- Reliability and punctuality, with the ability to work assigned part-time shifts consistently
- Knowledge of food and beverage offerings and the ability to provide helpful recommendations
- A professional appearance and demeanour that reflects our brand values
- Fluency in English is desirable; additional language skills are advantageous
