About this Position

We are looking for a Freelance Design Surveyor to support Astro’s hub relayout project across the Jadetabek area. This role will mainly focus on conducting site surveys, collecting accurate field data, preparing survey drawings, and ensuring that the actual site conditions are aligned with Astro’s design standards.

Responsibilities

Conduct site surveys for Astro hubs across the Jadetabek area.

Collect actual site data, including measurements, layout conditions, building conditions, utilities, equipment placement, and operational feasibility.

• Identify site constraints, defects, improper setups, or deviations from Astro’s standard layout/design.
• Prepare survey drawings based on actual field findings using SketchUp and/or CAD tools.
• Ensure survey outputs are accurate, clear, and aligned with the required design standards.
• Coordinate with the Design team and relevant stakeholders to align survey findings with the proposed layout.
• Participate in technical alignment or site briefing sessions with internal teams and vendors when needed.
• Support the finalization of survey outputs before design execution.
• Manage multiple hub survey assignments within the agreed timeline.
• Minimum Qualifications
• Preferably from Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering, or other related fields.
• Experience in site survey, construction field, drafting, interior design, architecture, or facility projects will be an advantage.
• Able to use SketchUp; AutoCAD or other CAD software will be a plus.
• Familiar with site measurement and able to use a laser meter.
• Has basic knowledge of building conditions, layout planning, and technical drawings.
• Able to translate actual site conditions into clear survey drawings.
• Detail-oriented, accurate, and organized in documenting field data.
• Comfortable with frequent site visits across Jadetabek.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Flexible, hands-on, and comfortable working in a fast-paced project-based environment.
