• DevSecOps Engineer
• to join our team in Jakarta. This is a
• contract position

that plays a critical role in embedding security throughout our software development and deployment lifecycle. As a DevSecOps Engineer, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between development, security, and operations teams, ensuring that security is not an afterthought but an integral part of our continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes. This position is essential to protecting our infrastructure, applications, and data whilst maintaining the agility and speed required by modern software development practices.

• What you'll be doing
• Design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines that automate security testing and compliance checks
• Conduct security code reviews and vulnerability assessments across application repositories
• Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and best practices for development teams

Manage and configure security tools, including static application security testing (SAST), dynamic application security testing (DAST), and software composition analysis (SCA) solutions

• Automate security scanning and vulnerability detection within the deployment pipeline
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to remediate identified vulnerabilities and security risks
• Monitor and analyse security logs and metrics to identify potential threats and compliance violations
• Maintain documentation of security processes, configurations, and incident response procedures
• Perform threat modelling and risk assessments for new applications and infrastructure changes
• Provide security training and guidance to development teams on secure coding practices
• What we're looking for
• Proven experience as a DevSecOps Engineer, Security Engineer, or similar role with hands-on expertise in CI/CD pipeline security
• Strong knowledge of secure software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices and principles
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools and platforms such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar technologies
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
• Solid understanding of container security, including Docker and Kubernetes security best practices
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and their security features
• Knowledge of security scanning tools including SAST, DAST, and vulnerability management platforms
• Experience with identity and access management (IAM) and authentication mechanisms
• Strong scripting and automation skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or Go
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Relevant certifications such as DevSecOps Certified Professional, or AWS Security certification are highly valued
