Job Title

• Mechanical Drafter (Valve Industry)
• Role & Responsibilities

3D Modeling & Detailing

Build accurate component models including valve bodies, stems, discs, and bonnets using CAD software like SolidWorks or AutoCAD.

GD&T Application

Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing strictly per ASME Y14.5 and ISO standards to guarantee inter-changeability of precision parts.

Bill of Materials (BOM)

Generate structured parts lists matching specified ASTM/ISO raw material grades and heat codes.

Design Integration

Incorporate pressure-temperature ratings, face-to-face dimensions (ASME B16.10), and wall thickness requirements into production drawings per API standards (e.g., API 6D, API 598).

Marking & Tagging

Ensure layout drawings feature mandatory valve markings required by API specs such as pressure class, material, and melt/heat number.

Quality Traceability

Follow API Spec Q1 guidelines for document control, revision history tracking, and engineering change notices (ECN).

Standardization

Draft manufacturing and testing schematics aligned with ISO 9001 and ISO 5208 valve testing and qualification guidelines.

Audit Readiness

Maintain clean, traceable design records, sign-off logs, and archived drawings to satisfy external ISO quality audits.

Corrective Action

• Revise production drawings immediately when non-conformances or design feedback arise from shop-floor quality control loops.
• Job Requirements

Education

D-III, D-IV, S-1 Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, Design, or a related technical discipline.

Experience

Minimum 2 years of mechanical drafting experience, specifically within the valve, piping, or pressure vessel industry.

CAD Proficiency

Advanced skills in 3D Modeling and 2D Detailing using SolidWorks or AutoCAD to build precise component models.

GD&T Expertise

Strict application of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing per ASME Y14.5 and ISO standards to guarantee part interchangeability.

BOM Management

Proven ability to generate structured Bills of Materials (BOM) matching specified ASTM/ISO raw material grades and heat codes.

API Standards

Solid understanding of API valve standards (e.g., API 6D, API 598), including design integration of pressure-temperature ratings, face-to-face dimensions, and wall thickness limits.

ISO Certification

Familiarity with ISO 9001 and ISO 5208 to draft accurate manufacturing and testing schematics aligned with valve testing guidelines.

Marking & Tagging

Knowledge of mandatory valve markings required by API specs (e.g., pressure class, material, melt/heat number) on layout drawings.

Quality Traceability

Experience following API Spec Q1 guidelines for document control, revision history tracking, and Engineering Change Notices (ECN) to maintain ISO audit readiness.

Corrective Action

• Ability to promptly revise production drawings based on non-conformance feedback or design inputs from shop-floor quality control loops.
• Good communication skills, able to communicate in English in verbal and written and able to present the mechanical draft/draw in English.

The office/factory location is in Wanaherang, Gunung Putri, and is preferred the candidates who residing/domicile in Bogor Regency, Depok City, Bekasi Regency, Bekasi City, and its surroundings.
