Export Import Operational

PT Gapura Mas Logistics is looking for a proactive, detail-oriented, and highly organized Operations Officer to join our growing team in North Jakarta. This full-time position plays a key role in managing day-to-day logistics operations, including customs clearance coordination, field operational activities, trucking arrangements, and document handling to ensure smooth import and export processes.

The ideal candidate should have solid knowledge of customs regulations, import and export documentation, and logistics operations, while also being comfortable handling operational tasks in the field when required.

Qualifications

• •⁠ ⁠Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
• •⁠ ⁠⁠Minimum 2–3 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, shipping, or customs clearance operations.
• •⁠ ⁠⁠Strong understanding of import and export clearance procedures, customs documentation, and regulatory compliance.
• •⁠ ⁠⁠Possession of a PPJK (Pengurus Pengurusan Jasa Kepabeanan) certificate is highly preferred.
• •⁠ ⁠⁠Familiar with customs regulations and Indonesian import/export procedures.
• •⁠ ⁠⁠Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• •⁠ ⁠⁠Good communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with internal teams, customs officers, transporters, and clients.
• •⁠ ⁠⁠Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• •⁠ ⁠⁠Preferably domiciled in North Jakarta or surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

•⁠ ⁠Handle and monitor import and export customs clearance activities while ensuring compliance with applicable customs regulations.

•⁠ ⁠⁠Prepare, review, and process shipping documents, including invoices, packing lists, permits, customs declarations, and other supporting documents.

•⁠ ⁠⁠Coordinate with Customs, shipping lines, airlines, freight forwarders, trucking vendors, warehouses, and other related parties to ensure smooth shipment execution.

•⁠ ⁠⁠Manage day-to-day field operations, including customs documentation (PPJK/kerani activities), trucking coordination, cargo handling arrangements, and messenger duties when required.

• •⁠ ⁠⁠Arrange and monitor truck movements, delivery schedules, and operational progress to ensure shipments are completed on time.
• •⁠ ⁠⁠Monitor shipment status and promptly resolve operational issues, customs clearance delays, or transportation problems.
• •⁠ ⁠⁠Keep updated with changes in customs regulations and ensure company compliance.
• •⁠ ⁠⁠Maintain accurate operational records and prepare reports as required.
• •⁠ ⁠⁠Work closely with the Marketing and Customer Service teams to provide efficient and reliable logistics solutions for clients.
