- Finance Manager
- to oversee the company’s financial planning, accounting, reporting, treasury, taxation, and finance operations.
- Key Responsibilities
- Financial Planning & Control
- Prepare and manage
- annual budgets, financial forecasts, and cash flow projections
- Monitor budget vs. actual performance and provide
- variance analysis and financial insights
- Manage working capital, including
- accounts receivable, accounts payable, and inventory
- Accounting & Financial Reporting
- Ensure accurate and timely financial records in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
- Prepare and review
- monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- , including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.
- Review journal entries, monthly closing processes, and account reconciliations.
- Coordinate with
- internal and external auditors
- Cash Flow & Treasury Management
- Oversee daily cash flow, supplier payments, and customer collections.
- Monitor
- customer and distributor receivables
- , including credit limits and aging.
- Manage banking facilities, loans, Letters of Credit (LC), and funding requirements.
- Support foreign currency and import-related transactions where applicable.
- Tax & Compliance
- Oversee corporate tax matters, including
- VAT and withholding taxes
- Ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations and financial requirements.
- Coordinate with
- tax consultants and relevant authorities
- when required.
- Costing & Margin Analysis
- Calculate and analyze
- COGS by product, color, and packaging size
- Monitor profitability and margins across
- retail, project, and distributor channels
- Analyze raw material cost fluctuations, including
- pigments, resins, and solvents
- , and assess their impact on profitability.
- Support
- pricing strategies
- in collaboration with Sales and Management.
- Business Partnering
- Act as a strategic finance partner to
- Sales, Production, Supply Chain, and Management
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions and investments.
- Review
- promotional programs, discounts, and distributor rebate schemes
- from a financial perspective.
- Team Leadership & Systems
- Lead, manage, and develop the
- Finance & Accounting team
- Establish and improve
- SOPs, internal controls, and finance processes
- Oversee and optimize the use of
- ERP and financial systems
- , such as SAP, Oracle, Accurate, or similar platforms.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in
- Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum
- 5–8 years of experience in Finance & Accounting
- , preferably within
- manufacturing, FMCG, paint, coatings, or chemical industries
- Strong knowledge of
- financial planning, costing, taxation, cash flow management, and financial analysis
- Experience managing
- financial reporting, budgeting, and month-end closing
- Strong understanding of
- working capital and treasury management
- Proven experience in
- leading and developing Finance & Accounting teams
- Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with
- ERP/financial systems
